The 3M™ 6291 Half Facepiece Respirator Assembly includes the 3M™ Half Facepiece Respirator 6200 and 3M™ P100 Particulate Filters 2091.
This assembly includes a 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator and two 3M™ 2091 P100 Particulate Filters. This assembly is NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. When properly fitted, this respirator helps provide protection in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). This respirator is remarkably comfortable, soft, and lightweight, and features easy-to-adjust head straps. When used to capacity, the included cartridges can be removed and replaced with new P100 Filter/Cartridges or other NIOSH approved 3M™ 2000 or 2200 Series Filters or 6000 Series Cartridges. The respirator can also be disassembled, cleaned, and reused, extending the life and cost effectiveness of the product.
NIOSH, a Federal government regulatory agency, has tested and approved the 6000 Series with 3M cartridges, filters or supplied air systems to help reduce breathing certain airborne contaminants. The 6000 Series is NIOSH approved for negative air purifying and positive pressure dual airline applications. The respirator comes with a P100 filter, which is replaceable.
