Intro & New Features
Continuing the legacy of the Bauer Supreme goalie line is the Supreme Mach goal stick. This elite-level stick displays only the best from Bauer—upgraded. It’s been prepped with Bauer’s latest technology to give you that extra edge you need to get ahead of the game, with new Ergobridge Spine technology, a TeXtreme weave construction with ACL technology, and an Expancel Bridge core.
Shaft Construction
The shaft is constructed primarily of a unidirectional carbon fibre weave. UD carbon is a common and reliable weave option for goalie and player hockey sticks alike, as it allows the stick to be tough while also keeping it very lightweight.
Paddle Construction
Bauer continues to stick to a TeXtreme weave construction coupled with Advanced Carbon Layering technology (ACL) in their highest-end gear. ACL Tech has been used consistently in blade and paddle builds from Bauer due to its use of thinner carbon layers and optimized carbon fibre placement. TeXtreme is about 20% more durable compared to other carbon fibre materials, and it is also incredibly lightweight.
Partially inherited from the Ultrasonic’s paddle and upgraded, the new Ergobridge Spine helps greatly with torsion control, whether you are playing the puck or deflecting it. The technology takes the old Ergo Spine tech from the Ultrasonic and extends it across the paddle to ensure the same performance over the blade too.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
The paddle’s new Ergobridge technology now extends across the blade to further enhance torsion control at the blade as well. For greater durability in the blade against impact force, Bauer implemented an Expancel Bridge core. Expancel is designed to enlarge and contract depending on the situation in order to reach that desired durability.
Graphics
Bauer took a metallic approach with the graphics on their new Mach line of goalie gear. Representing the future of the Bauer Supreme line, the Mach goalie stick continues to carry a silver colouration in addition to the shiny gold accents in cybernetic designs around the top of the paddle. The stick also comes in black, blue, and red variant colourways at stock.
Grip
Griptac is the type of rip that Bauer uses for many of their highest-end sticks. It ensures a great feel at the paddle and shaft while helping you have a strong hold on the stick when you need it.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Lengths, Stick Lengths, Weight, Level of Play
The Bauer Supreme Mach Senior Goalie Stick is built for the elite-level player. It comes in the P31 and P34 blade patterns in hand-paddle lengths 25”, 26”, and 27”, and the following colourways: Black, Silver, Silver/Blue, and Silver/Red.
