Designed to complement the Black Box Emerald HD/4K KVM system, the Emerald EMS10G12 12-Port 10G SFP+ Managed Network Switch offers your business reliable, scalable performance. In addition to featuring twelve 10G SFP+ fiber ports, three QSFP28 slots are available for up to 100 Gb/s fiber uplink connections. Simply adding more endpoints allows you to quickly expand your network to meet growing needs.

Reliable Design

This Layer 2 and 3 switch includes twelve 10 Gb/s SFP+ ports that ensure trouble-free KVM over IP extension and matrix switching connections with a 960 Gb/s non-blocking switching capacity. You can enhance operation by installing redundant power supplies and fans.

4K Digital Video

The Emerald KVM platform supports clear, crisp 4K DisplayPort video at 60 Hz over standard IP network switches. Image transmission with mathematical lossless compression visualizes every pixel at up to 60 fps with a 10-bit color depth.

Virtualization

More physical servers are being replaced by virtualization, allowing better performance, availability, scalability, and return on investment. Emerald simplifies access to both physical and virtual servers with virtual machine support for VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix, using RDP 8.1, RemoteFX, PCoIP, and others.
