The California poppy sundew, with its fern-like grey/green foliage and pale lemon cup-shaped flowers blooming on up to 20cm tall stems, is ideal for beds, borders and rock gardens. Though it can grow in poor soil conditions and is resistant to drought, the petals may close during inclement weather. With this hardy variety of poppy as part of your garden landscape, you will never lack colour or spirit!
Sow direct or raise seedlings in spring and summer at 3mm deep, 40cm apart. Emerge in 14-21 days at 16-22°C. Maturity in 75 days. Needs full sun. Hardy annual 20cm high plant.
