Ceratopteris siliquosa is a beautiful aquarium plant with a relatively short rhizome. The leaves are all shaped differently and are light green in colour which makes it look quite special. Some people call this a Sumatra fern. It grows to a decent size of about 60 cm in a relatively short period of time.
The strong roots quickly permeate the substrate and it's best to trim the leaves regularly and any new sheets can be cut off and replanted. In general a very decorative aquarium plant looks best planted behind something like a rock or piece of wood and is suitable for beginners and up.
