3M Vinyl Tape 471 Blue is 5.2 mil (0.13 mm) thick and has a vinyl backing with a rubber adhesive that maintains its colour even when exposed to heavy abrasion. Offers clean removal, good solvent resistance. It is specifically designed for masking of plastic moldings, for paint spraying with thin and straight paint line without imprint or adhesive residue of tape. This tape can withstand a temperature of 158°F (70 °C) for one hour.
