Charles Dancla (1817-1907) was a French violinist and composer.
Six Airs Variés (Op. 89) is the first series of his two Airs Varies, composed for the violin with piano accompaniment. Each of the six airs is based on themes by different composers: Puccini, Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Weigl and Mercadante.
