Printing Settings
For best results, dry filament using a filament drier before use or print from dryer running or dry box. Keep in an airtight container or included mylar bag for medium/long term storage with silica desiccant. [If you hear popping or inconsistent extrusion while purging filament, suggest drying before printing for best results] Filament Drying Guide
Note: Burnt Titanium/Nebula Purple may require more extensive drying and may offer weaker mechanical properties compare to regular ASA or Sparkle ASA, due to modifier added to the material. For better weatherability, we recommended our regular ASA that is not filled with any materials such as glitter/cf, otherwise our recommendation is clear coat parts if you exposure to high humidity or salt water environments.
Larger than 0.4mm nozzle is recommenced for sparkle filled filament.

Nozzle Temperature |
240°C - 260°C |
Build Plate Temperature |
95°C - 110°C
|
Build Surface Material |
Works well with most common build surfaces. |
Build Surface Treatment |
Typically none required. Some surfaces such as glass work best with PVA glue stick or Magigoo . |
Cooling Fan |
LOW-MEDIUM for better surface quality OFF-LOW for better strength |
Enclosure / Heater Chambers |
At minimal passive enclosure. 50-70˚C+ may be required for higher density and larger geometries.
Recommend VOC/Air Filtering/fume extraction or print in well ventilated room with fume extraction.
|
Printing Speed |
30 mm/s - 150 mm/s |
Retraction |
The ideal retraction settings vary from printer to printer. If you find the retraction settings are causing gaps in your part, the following settings may help. Direct Drive: Retraction distance of 0.5 - 1mm with retraction speed of 20mm/s Bowden: Retraction distance of 2 - 3mm with retraction speed of 20 - 40mm/s |
Drying Recommendation |
~65°c for 6-8hrs (Only dry if filament is wet, over drying/repeat drying can damage filament) (Filament Dryer Guide)
|
Storage |
Keeping filament in an airtight container or provided Mylar bag with new/dried desiccant.
|
Support Material |
Single Extrusion: Self Support
Idex/Tool Changer: DREMC HIPS
|
Based on 0.5 mm nozzle. Printing conditions may vary with different printers and nozzle diameters.
