The Fyodor Pavlov Tarot is a beautiful modern Tarot that wonderfully captures the elegance and mystery of the most beloved Tarot decks of the past. Pavlov spent five years working on this deck, lovingly researching the traditional history and imagery on each card. He then created his own versions in ink and water-color. The cards are informed by Pavlov's personal queer and trans experiences, but the deck ultimately soars beyond the personal, opening a doorway to discover the universal truths and patterns that create our own stories.
Deck includes a Two-piece box with gold foil stamping, 78 gilded edge linen finish cards with color-themed suits and 172 page full-color illustrated, hardcover book.

Creator
Russian émigré and longtime New Yorker, Fyodor Pavlov creates art that brings new life to the past for contemporary audiences. Maintaining a strong portfolio focused on motifs of history and queer sexuality, his experience in the artistic community spans international and domestic commercial and private commissions, comics, and polished personal works. Working primarily through the medium of watercolor and ink, the stylistic artistry of Pavlov's illustration places a distinct emphasis on detail when addressing subjects spanning from the Edwardian Era and the Jazz Age to muses of our current day.
In print, Pavlov’s work can be found in Queerotica: A Comics Anthology, The Other Side: An Anthology of Queer Paranormal Romance, Dates! An Anthology of Queer Historic Fiction, Serving Pride, Mine!: A Celebration of Liberty and Freedom for All Benefitting Planned Parenthood, and more. His work has graced the posters of such prestigious events as Dances of Vice, the Liberty Belle Extravaganza and Dr. Sketchy’s in New York, and The Black Cat Cabaret in London and The Vienna Boylesque Festival, and he has extensive experience in working artistically for the burlesque community both in the US and abroad.
