Introducing the PVS-31C-MOD, a cutting-edge dual-tube goggle system with enhanced ergonomic design and functionality. It incorporates several innovative features, including a dedicated Instant-On-IR button that enables quick and momentary activation of the IR illuminator, eliminating the need for manual switch operation.
The unit features a versatile front-mounted connector, allowing power supply from a wide range of sources, including external battery packs, USB power banks, and 12V car sockets. As per the customer's preference, the unit can be equipped with either a Bayonet (PVS) or Dove-Tail style bracket.
The dual-tube design of the PVS-31C-MOD not only enhances depth perception but also enables its use in various scenarios, including operating machinery and boats, in addition to standard ground operations. Research has shown that dual-tube night vision systems, like the PVS-31C-MOD, offer increased safety and effectiveness in low-light conditions compared to the "bi-ocular" system, commonly known as the "PVS-7," which relies on a single lens for both eyes.
