1 golf ball size portion of Java Moss aka taxiphyllum barbieri
Java moss will have some brown pieces mixed in as it was grown out of the water initially on plant nurseries before it is shipped to us where we put it in our tanks. This moss is vey easy to grow and will do well the given time to grow in and establish.

Java Moss is a slow growing Foreground carpeting plant however it can be placed anywhere in the tank or attached to rocks or driftwood to slowly grow on and cover. This plant, like all plants, grows best with fertilizer and lighting around 6500k. This plant can be grown without co2. Fertilizer isn't necessary but does help.
