An innovative right-side quilt leaf has recently been added to the Kangaroo Sewing Cabinet to expand your work surface and create more comfort for your sewing experience. 

Additionally, the left-drawer extension cover has been redesigned to improve stability and increase convenience.  

Extensive workspace for sewing and quilting with a three-drawer Joey storage cabinet helps tame your creative clutter.  The Joey tucks neatly into the kangaroo Cabinet "pouch" to maximize your space.   

A false front removes so you can use the knee lifter that may have come with your sewing machine or snap in place to trim the cabinet front.

The included quilt leaf in the back of the sewing cabinet expands your work area tremendously - a wonderful feature for the quilter.  With its fold-away feature, the quilt leaf has easy storage.

The Kangaroo and Joey II is an ideal workspace for large quilts with the drawer topper and top of Joey.  Joey's three storage drawers measure:

• 2 drawers each 22" W x 13 1/8" D x 2 3/8" H
• 1 drawer 22" W x 13 1/8" D x 7 3/8" H

Drawers on the Joey II lock with a small key.  The Joey II sewing cabinet has recently been updated to have soft close drawers.  With this feature, your drawers will glide closed.  Organizing was just made easier!

Included is a matching cover that fits in the sewing machine lift cut out, creating a sturdy flat surface for cutting or other craft activities on the top of the cabinet.

A large left drawer includes a removable cover to expand your work area.  The Joey II is needed to support the drawer if the drawer cover is being utilized.

The Kangaroo Cabinet does not have a door.  The sewing machine is exposed in all three positions.

You are Responsible to check the Sewing Machine Hole Size

Be sure to measure your sewing machine with all attachments removed.  For the best fit, allow 2 extra inches around your machine for the insert to fit well.  The extra 2" also allows room for your machine to raise and lower freely with the lift and the sewing machine cords.

The standard sewing machine opening size can be found in the specifications.

Optional Acrylic Insert

Sew Steady Cabinet Insets & Inserts are designed to fit your specific make and model of sewing machine and cabinet and fill gaps around your sewing area*, allowing you to work more efficiently and comfortably. They are made with one of the highest grades of acrylic.

All the inserts are designed based on having the accessory tray removed from the machine.  The insert is designed to be perfectly level with the free arm of the machine.  If you have a top-loading bobbin this may affect your use. 

Occasionally those that are custom cutting the insert will have additional questions about your sewing machine, or the hole that they are fitting, and you will be asked more questions.

We encourage you to add the optional acrylic insert.  The custom cut insert fills in the empty space between your sewing machine and the edge of the sewing machine hole.  This keeps your fabric from falling down between your sewing machine and the cabinet.  It is wonderful to sew on a completely flat surface from the front edge of your sewing cabinet feeding your fabric all the way to the back.

Lift

A heavy-duty three-position EZ-Lift airlift mechanism holds the largest sewing and embroidery machines - up to 55 pounds.

The lift adjusts, allowing you to sew flatbed or free-arm and store your sewing machine out of sight down in the sewing cabinet.  These three positions of your airlift are all with a simple push down on the lift table.

Made to fit the new larger, heavier sewing and embroidery machines - up to 55 pounds. The opening platform will accommodate sewing machines no larger than 23 1/2" w (left to right), 16 1/2" deep (front to back), and 14 1/2" tall. Measure your sewing machine, being sure to include knobs, plugs, etc. that extend beyond the body of the machine.
