Created by Danish designer Simon Legald, the Notch Bed Frame is inspired by the traditional notching technique, where one plank is inserted into another to form the joints of the furniture piece. Through this notching, the bed frame achieves both structural integrity and stunning decorative details at the corners. Notch is constructed from solid pine and treated with a clear, matte UV varnish. The varnish protects the wood from the sun's rays whilst letting the full character of the wood grain still show through.
