It displays the picture on the bottom lower portion of the original small Nintendo New 3DS XL 2015 and sits behind the touch screen (not included)
Requires console disassembly and technical knowledge to install, once the console is dissembled the part is plug and play using the ribbon cables attached to the LCD.
