Blue-coloured elegant and uniform cut flower. Flowers stand tall on strong, slender stems. It makes a lovely vase on its own and is very shapely for a Scabious.
Scabiosa, or Pin Cushion, is native to Mediterranean Europe and a fabulously pollinator-friendly flower, attracting bees and butterflies plenty. It is a beautiful flower arranger's bloom and great for informal cottage gardens, beds and borders. You may plant two or even three sowings three or four weeks apart to achieve a succession of blooms throughout the season.
