No, the putty does not pull moisture from your skin or leave a sticky residue behind.
If I keep it in the container will that prevent it from drying out?
Yes! The putty will not dry out if safely stored in the properly sealed containers after each use
Do you have hand exercises you suggest to use with the putty?
Yes, the putty includes a booklet with suggested hand strengthening exercises. Below are a few examples.
Power Squeeze:
Make a ball with putty. With putty in your palm, squeeze and flatten putty with all four fingers to improve grip strength.
Finger Extension:
Make a loop of putty over a bent finger. Straighten the finger against the putty to stretch it to improve finger strength.
Finger Spread:
Form a flat disc with the putty and lightly press on top of pinched fingers and thumb. Slowly spread fingers and thumb out, stretching the putty disc to strengthen fingers.
Does the putty contain latex or gluten?
No, the putty is made with an odorless silicone that is latex and gluten-free.
Is the therapy putty better to use than an exercise ball for arthritis?
We recommend using both! Therapy putty allows for more motion, including pinching, twisting and stretching, which improves fine motor skills and overall hand strength. A hand therapy exercise ball strengthens your grip while relieving stiffness by increasing circulation through the hand and forearm.
Do I get one color or all four?
You will get all four color-coded resistance levels, each in a separate resealable container.
