The Sideline® 40 is Touchstones fireplace response to everyone's request. The Sideline® 40 electric fireplace insert is a ventless fireplace with heat delivered through an opening on the face of the fireplace. The Sideline® 40 electric fireplace heater, like all Touchstone home fireplaces, has the most modern and realistic flame available in an wall electric fireplace, and all your friends will be hesitant to put their hands up to the glass face.
The Sideline® 40 built in wall fireplace is ideal for smaller spaces, and it has a built-in look and feel that no other electric fireplace heaters can match. You'll have the appearance of a real fireplace built right into your wall without the hassle of cleaning it. The Sideline® 40 has five flame settings and two heat settings, and it can be used with or without the heat, so it can be used on a warm summer evening as well as the coldest winter nights.

Yes, it does heat your room
The Sideline® 40 not only looks great, but it also helps to heat your space. Although we don't recommend The Sideline® 40 as a primary heat source, it can help heat a room up to 400 square feet with a 5100 BTU heater.
It's ideal for taking the chill off a chilly autumn evening or adding a little extra warmth to your room on a chilly winter night. The Sideline® 40 can also be used without the heat and with the electric fireplace turned on for those hot summer nights.
Multiple flame colors
This electronic unit emits authentic-looking flames that mimic a real fire to create the cozy atmosphere of a traditional fireplace. Touchstone Home Products in wall fireplaces produce natural-looking flames that will fool your friends and family into thinking you have a traditional wood-burning fireplace.
This touchstone electric fireplace has three color-changing options (orange, blue, and blue-orange), as well as five different settings, ranging from a gentle ember glow to a roaring fire. This recessed fireplace's lighting and heating options allow you to personalize your environment to your liking. Sideline® is the total package in terms of appearance and performance. The Sideline® Series Fireplace comes with both options, allowing you to select the look that best suits your needs.
Mounting and Use
The Sideline® 40 electric is intended for recessed installation, but it can also be hung on the wall. The fireplace comes with mounting and installation instructions, and we recommend that you follow them carefully. Because of its heating feature, we recommend placing The Sideline® 40 at least 20" below your ceiling or 8" below your mounted flat screen.
