Marsilea minuta is a native aquarium plant to Asia, where it is often found in rice paddies. Its delicate leaves are not more than half a centimetre in width. Marsilea minuta is a resilient species that is tolerant of both low lighting and high temperatures, though it does benefit from more favourable conditions. Planted in small clusters, it quickly spreads and forms a lush, compact carpet of 1-3cm in height.
