The Ketcot is a fast-growing, thorny tree that can reach a height of over 5 meters if not pruned. It produces small orange fruits that are sour-sweet and packed with vitamin C. These fruits are best left on the tree until fully ripe to maximize their sweetness.
These are cutting grown, and are already producing flowers and fruit. Here at the nursery, we have one tree in a 35-litre pot, which is thriving and producing masses of fruit. It requires very little care and is much easier to grow than most of the other sub-topicals!
Current stock: Cutting-grown from a mature fruiting tree
