With a strong emphasis on providing a great experience, the Catalyst 3X3 recreational stick offers a fresh perspective on shooting by effortlessly blending power and accuracy into a single, innovative and budget-friendly package. The stick is constructed with many of TRUE’s renowned tech, including Axenic Technology, TRT, and PASS.
Stick Profile
The TRUE Catalyst 3X3 stick boasts a distinctive mid-kick point profile that caters to players seeking enhanced shot velocity and unparalleled accuracy. Crafted with precision, the stick's design is meticulously engineered to optimize on-ice performance and bolster a commanding presence.
Shaft Construction
TRUE engineered the shaft of the 3X3 with PASS and Axenic technologies. PASS offers a remarkable 25% strength boost over TRUE's XCORE technology; this amplified strength yields a more flexible blade, preventing premature foam deterioration and enhancing overall blade durability. Additionally, the fusion of Axenic Technology yields a true one-piece stick, placing the player's hands in direct touch with the puck and accentuating an unrivaled connection between player and play.
Blade Construction
TRT (Tri Rib Tech) returns in the Catalyst series in the 3X3, ingeniously crafted to harmonize durability with an ultra-lightweight framework. This technology aligns strategically positioned rib structures with key puck impact points, amplifying blade stability for heightened shot accuracy and power.
Grip
The stick features a soft gloss grip that not only provides a tactile advantage but also contributes to its overall aesthetic appeal. The blade has been outfitted with a matte black finish.
Graphics
The 3X3 keeps the patterns known of the Catalyst line but with a more blue/grey colouration with black accents.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The Catalyst 3X3 Junior stick comes in the following blade patterns: T92.5 and T28 (20 Flex only in T92.5). TRUE has rebranded their most popular curves and given them new names, but they are all the same as we know them still.
The T92.5 (previously TC2.5) is similar to the T92 (previously TC2) but with a slightly different lie (T92 uses 6.0, whereas T92.5 uses 5.0). This blade is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs, although it may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
The T28 (previously TC4) is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
