The UPPAbaby MESA V2 features an sun canopy that's 20% larger than the previous MESA, a larger headrest for added side impact protection, a contoured insert with added support for newborns, and a new seatbelt installation method that's more secure.

The base of the MESA V2 installs in a matter of seconds, thanks to self-tensioning LATCH connectors and tightness indicators that turn green to signal that a safe installation is complete. A no-rethread harness makes for easier adjustment as your baby grows.

For taxis and travel, the MESA V2 can be installed without the base with European-style seatbelt guides on the front and back of the seat, and the carry handle can be used in a fourth position to prevent rebounding in a crash.
