A flexible wide-angle focal length combined with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture makes it ideal for working in a variety of lighting conditions, with enhanced control over depth of field for isolating subjects using selective focus technology.

Autofocus, Full-frame: The Viltrox 24mm F1.8 wide-angle lens is designed for full-frame format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 35mm equivalent focal length.
Large Aperture: Bright f/1.8 maximum aperture suits working in low-light conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field. Nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
Advanced Optical Design: Three extra-low dispersion elements reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to achieve a high degree of clarity and color accuracy. Three high refractive index elements help to control spherical aberrations and reduce distortion in order to realize high sharpness and accurate rendering. Two aspherical elements minimize distortion and spherical aberrations in order to produce high sharpness and accurate rendering.
HD Nano Multi-layer Coating HD Nano multi-layer coating has been applied to individual elements to suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
STM Motor & Exif data: STM stepping motor enables quick, quiet, and precise autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override. Additionally, an internal focusing design maintains the overall lens length during use for improved handling and quicker response. Electronic contacts convey Exif data as well as permit camera-based aperture selection. Additionally, an integrated USB port permits updating the lens's firmware.
