The baseplate is compatible with standard-height ARRI bridge plates, allowing you to use the camera with a shoulder support or tripod system, or to add 15mm LWS rod support for accessories like a follow focus, a matte box, or a lens motor. It is designed to put the ALEXA 35 camera at the proper lens height when mounted onto optional 15mm rods.
