Wiring the phone jacks is a simple process that can be achieved in just a few minutes and with minimal tools.
The tools required:
Scissors or wire cutters

The back of the phone adaptor is marked with 6 locations for wiring the phone, each labeled with a number. The actual mechanism might change slightly but the number correlation will stay the same. |

Align the colored wires to the correlating number: 1. Not used 2. Black 3. Red 4. Green 5. Yellow 6. Not used |

Slightly push the wires into the groove by hand just enough for them to hold into place. There is no need to strip the wires as the wire covering will slice in the slot to make the connection. |

Lay the cap on top of the slots and squeeze it into place. It should clip into place and not be able to pull off by hand pressure. |
