About Frankster
When Niels Hoeben, our founder, was on the lookout for Shorts that could seamlessly transition from sandy beaches to backyard barbecues, and into the night, he realised it was so bloody damn difficult to find good Shorts. So, in 2023, he pivoted from searching to creating. After a year dedicated to development, fabric testing, and finding the right manufacturers, Frankster's perfect Shorts came to life: smart-casual, well-fitted, and available in a rainbow of colours. Our pledge? A fit that feels right today, tomorrow, and beyond, as we continue to inject more colours and designs into our collection. Because at Frankster, we know it's always summer somewhere…
From Melbourne, Niels travelled the world to find the best craftsmen to produce the Shorts. At Frankster, quality is our priority. From premium fabrics to the partially elastic waistband and the hidden pocket for your phone or keys, we've thought of everything. “Our starting point was the customer. During the development phase, dozens of prototypes and samples were made to bring Frankster's vision of the perfect Shorts to life,” says Niels. Frankster focuses on timeless style, high-quality production, and fair working conditions; our response to the excesses of fast fashion.
Unlike other brands with seasonal collections where you never know what you will find and need to shop around, Frankster keeps it straightforward. We only create a limited number of styles, developing them in all the colours and fabrics that men desire, creating the ultimate one-stop shop for all your Shorts needs.
As we recognize only one season, Shorts-season, we do not participate in sales or offer discounts. We're not about that life. We're in it for the fun, the sun, and the perfect pair of Shorts.
As a brand, we are committed to doing good. We support Movember and their noble cause. Throughout the year, we develop initiatives to raise awareness and funds, with 10% of Frankster profits going to Movember.
Frankster is a fully vertical DTC brand, meaning we design, develop, and sell our products directly. We sell exclusively via our own website. By controlling and owning every step of the process, we ensure high quality and maintain our prices at the lowest possible, guaranteeing you the best value for your money.
