Title: Professional Climber

Flannery started climbing at 11 in Denver, Colorado. She competed in sport climbing and bouldering, eventually making Nationals in both. After barely graduating high school in 2010, Flannery decided to place more emphasis on climbing and less on jumping through hoops. This climbing oriented outlook culminated in a 18 month road trip starting in 2012. Right now, she is living in Truckee, California, coaching a band of misfit crushers, trying projects and setting 'mega' routes.

Age: I'm 21 years old. Finally.

Years doing what you do: I've been climbing for 10 years, or maybe it's 11.

Hometown: Denver, not Boulder, Colorado

Favorite product: Climbing Salve. It has salvaged many a climbing day.

Please list your top three career highlights:

1) Being asked to forerun a US bouldering World Cup.

2) Completing Clear Blue Skies at Mount Evans. I put a lot of myself into that boulder

3) Road tripping around the US and Canada since August 2012

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go

and why?

I would love to go to anywhere in South East Asia.

If you had a yacht what would you name it?

Trout Fishing in America, without a doubt.

What is your favorite movie quote?

What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Canned ants.
