Anthony Walker is an award-winning visual artist from Yiman and Gurreng Gurreng tribes with artworks held in collections both nationally and internationally.
As an urban Aboriginal artist, Anthony engages with themes of identity and country, and has succeeded in creating his own signature style that fuses traditional storytelling with contemporary painting techniques.
Anthony reinterprets stories from his grandparents’ country through works that are light-hearted in design, yet visually striking with their blend of colour and movement.
As well as painting, Anthony creates public art commissions and coordinates Indigenous Arts development programs.
