The story
Anna's new Flying Peacock design was created from her original pen and ink painting on watercolour paper. She was curious about the fact that despite the beauty and extraordinary feathers of the peacock we hardly ever see them fly. While researching this she found that when they are in flight their wings are exposed as an incredible salmon pink colour, which contrasts so strikingly with the blues and greens we normally see in the peacock. She loved the colour combination and a design was born!
Production
We have used a new generation tech canvas fabric for our Flying Peacock shades, which makes them more hard wearing and easier to clean. They are handmade in Shropshire.
We have used velvet for the first time for our Peacock cushions, adding a new luxury element to our range. They are handmade in South East London.
