ULTRA PITCH MOD: NUMARK PT-01 |
This Kit is designed for both the Numark PT01 Non-USB or USB. The Kit is configured to go inline between the Motor and Circuit Board. Soldering iron is not needed for this installation. |
PREREQUISITES |

STEP 1 |
Flip the turntable over to rest it on the top cover and remove 8 screws using a philips screw drivers or using a drill with a philips drill bit for faster access. |
STEP 2 |
Detached the power and usb plug from the bottom portion of the portable turntable. |
STEP 3 |
Choose an Area to drill a hole for placement of the ultra-pitch kit. We recommend using a step drill bit. Do your best to not over drill the hole. |
STEP 4 |
With wire cutters or scissors cut the Motor wires at about the center. |
STEP 5 |
After you cut the wires you’ll need separate and strip the 4 wires (2 x white & 2 red/white) on the portable turntable using a pair of wire strippers. |
STEP 6 |
The motor has engraved the + and - Symbols for Positive and Negative. The Red with White Stripe Wire is Positive and Solid White Wire is Negative. |
WIRING DIAGRAM |
Use this diagram to match and connect each of the wires in steps 7-9. |
STEP 7 |
Insert the Solid White Wire (Negative) coming from the circuit board into one of the orange wire butts included in the kit. Note: Refer to the wire diagram to properly match the colored wires from the Ultra-pitch kit to the motor and circuit board. |
STEP 8 |
Connect the Black Wire from the Kit to the Solid White Wire (Negative) coming from the circuit board into one of the orange wire butts included in the kit. |
STEP 9 |
Using a pair of pliers, snap the orange button on the wire butt down to lock both wires into place. |
STEP 10 |
Gently pull on the wires to make sure they're secure and don’t come out of the wire butts. |
STEP 11 |
Detach the Ultra-pitch knob, nut and washer from the Ultra-pitch kit. |
STEP 11 |
Insert the Ultra-pitch kit into the hole you just drilled. |
STEP 12 |
Insert the Ultra-pitch kit into the hole and screw in the included nut with your hands or using a 10mm socket. |
STEP 13 |
Take some electrical tape to tape down any excess wire laying around with inside the turntable. |
STEP 14 |
Plug the power and usb wires back into the bottom portion of the turntable. |
STEP 15 |
Before screwing in the turntable, plug the power adapter or insert batteries into the turntable to test the Ultra-pitch kit. Make sure it’s functional and no wires had accidentally been detached from the Ultra-pitch kit, motor or mainboard. |
STEP 16 |
Once the Ultra-pitch kit mod has been successfully installed place the bottom of the turntable back onto the turntable and screw the 8 screws back in using a philips screw driver or electrical drill with drill bit. |
