We have sourced some of the finest and rarest ingredients to create unique and potent products from the holistic practice long held by the very own INDIAN community – known for their luscious, healthy & healing benefits; be it Hair, Face or Body. The components that we use are well processed to retain its full nourishment to ensure the array of vitamins and minerals are intact, easily transferring on to the hair, face & body.
Every ingredient we employ is thoroughly researched and watchfully selected for its promising properties and subsequently processed with unadulterated organic virgin coconut oil and blended with various roots, herbs, flowers, and essential oils: all certified ‘organic’.
WHAT ‘CHEMICALS’ CAN DO TO YOUR HAIR & SKIN?
Audora takes pride in declaring all its products are 100% NATURAL & UNADULTERATED and hence SAFE TO USE, while many beauty care products today consists of harmful chemicals like PARABEN, SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE (SLS), TRICLOSAN, PHTHALATES & OXYBENZONE.
WHY AVOID PRODUCTS INVLOVING CHEMICAL INTERACTION?
PARABEN:
They are chemicals that are often used as preservatives to give products a longer shelf life. 80% of the beauty/ cosmetic products today use Paraben to prevent the growth of mold and other harmful bacteria. Use of paraben on skin can result in increased risk of breast cancer and allergic reactions such as: Itching, Bumps & Blisters, Dry, Scaly skin, Swelling, tenderness or burning.
SODIUM LAURYL SULPHATE (SLS):
Sulphates are derived from petroleum and are often controversial due to their origin. The biggest concern is the long term side effects of sulphate production. SLS can irritate skin, eyes, and lungs, especially with long term use. Use of sulphate is not only harmful for human health but also for the environment and animals (many products with sulphates are tested on animals to measure the level of irritation to people’s skin, lungs & eyes).
TRICLOSAN:
Triclosan has been associated with cancer development and decreased cardiovascular function in mice. Some studies in humans also suggest that triclosan exposure might have negative effects on female fertility, fetal development, and worsening of asthma and other allergies.
PHTHALATES:
Phthalates, used as solvents and perfume fixatives in many hair and cosmetic products has shown to interfere with reproductive function and hormonal systems including female infertility, reduced testosterone, low birth weight, and preterm birth.
OXYBENZONE:
Oxybenzone is one of the common active ingredients in sunscreens. Use of oxybenzone on skin can cause skin allergies and can interfere with how some hormones work. Also causes skin rash, acne, contact dermatitis, inflammation of hair follicle & skin irritation.
