Who is Matt Wilson?
Matt Wilson is an Afro-Latino Singer-Songwriter from Buffalo, New York. He grew up in the lower west side of Buffalo. Throughout his journey, he found himself in the city’s performing arts school learning vocal technique and began sharpening his skills. This led to Matt singing all around Buffalo and gaining his reputation as a professional singer. His recent journey on American Idol has jumpstarted his dream career to make music for people to enjoy. Working on his EP, “DREAM”, Matt has been devoting his time after being on national television creating a special project full of original music for his new fans. His first “single” will be released July 28th, 2023.

If you are chosen to win, you will be singing a song live with the band during our 716 Day Celebration at our BFLO Store Transitown Location (July 16th, 2023 at 1pm)!
Auditions will be held digitally through video link. Please follow the instructions below to ensure your audition form is completed successfully.
Step 1: Purchase the registration form here ($10 non-refundable fee).
Step 2: At checkout and in your email you will receive your downloadable registration form.
Step 3: Prepare, sing, and upload your audition to YouTube. Contestants must choose from the following required song list to audition:
Tip: After uploading your video to YouTube make sure the video visibility is on “Everyone” or “Anyone with the link” so we are able to view your video.
Step 4: Complete the registration form and ensure all information is accurate.
Step 5: Relax and wait! The winner will be contacted and announced by July 9th. All rules and regulations are applicable upon the completion of registration.

Contest Rules:
The registration fee is $10. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Must be present to win and sing on July 16th (even if not a resident of Buffalo, NY.) Only one winner will be chosen. Again, all rules and regulations are applicable upon completion of registration entry.
