I am a career Firefighter for my main profession. I got into leather work to make myself a radio strap for my job and found it enjoyable! I branched out and made wallets, tote bags, belts and had enough interest to make this a side business.
Old Viking Leathers is a name based on my Norwegian heritage and the fact that I just hit my 40’s.
All items are made completely by hand from a single side of cows leather, using the highest quality leather you can get! My wallets, belts and bag straps are made with Wickett and Craig Leather and some belts I use Herman Oak. My bags are made from high end leather from Tuscany Italy! My Kodiak bags are made from a highly durable Kodiak oil tanned hide that has a ton of character! As far as lead times, that all depends on orders as this is a side business and I make everything myself, by hand.
