EMBROIDERY
Embroidery is both hardwearing and versatile, creating a high quality and premium-finished product. Embroidery is our go-to process where possible on hoodies, polo shirts, jackets, caps, visors, and beanies.
Embroidery is perfect for a high-end retail finish for merchandise and workwear alike - giving garments a higher perceived value and an embellishment lasting the lifetime of the garment. Embroidery is often cheaper than printing as its costs are determined by the number of stitches in a design, and not the number of colours.
We boast state of the art eight-headed embroidery (producing 8 garments/logos at a time) that feature the latest automated technology and up to 15 colours per design. We adopt Polyester threads (predominantly) that are harder wearing and colourfast beyond cotton thresholds.
To achieve embroidery, all artworks must be digitized into an embroidery format. Digitizing is key to the process as the better the digitizing, the better the output.
All new confirmed orders for embroidery are sampled prior to production, for your approval, so nothing is produced blindly until you’re 100% happy with the design, size and detail achieved.
Full Colour Printing
Full Colour Printing or Supacolour is a technical print process which adopts a hybrid of water-based and digital inks to create full colour prints that are both crisp and vibrant. This method is perfect for detailed designs going onto polyester materials and other fabric types that can’t be achieved with screen printing. Perfect for Hi-Vis workwear also.
The best part about Supacolour is;
-
there are no set up costs! with the process
-
and minimums of just 10 prints.
A vector (master) file (editable artwork) of your logo is required so we can change colours and resize the design (as required) to a dpi resolution of 300 or higher - often embedded within a .pdf from your graphic designers.
Don’t worry if you don’t have this kind of file (if you have used Canva for example) as we have the expertise to help guide you – just send us your design and we’ll provide a quote for its creation (re-draw) into editable master vector format. .jpeg and .png are not editable file types as they are images (editable files contain objects, not images). Most designs re-draw fees are as little as $55+gst (and you also get the vector file by e-mail once your order is complete and paid).
The minimum order quantity for Supacolour prints is 10 units per size – if you don’t need 10 garments, we’ll just keep the pre-paid prints that are leftover for any future orders you make with us, and next time round you pay for just the garments.
Prices are determined by the coverage area of the print (not the number of colours - so is a perfect alternative to screen printing) Size variables: up to 60mm x 60mm, 100mm x 100mm, A5, A4, and A3 (42cm x 30cm). Price point breaks: 10-19, 20-49, and 50-99 up to 750+.
Supacolour prints are wash tested to 70+ washes before some degradation can be seen (based on manufacturers tests, under scientific laboratory analysis examination) under a microscope and not visible to the naked eye. We have our own prints and customers where the print is like new well over 150+ washes/3+ years of use.
