FABRIC, CARE & SIZING

Is the fabric chemically treated with flame retardant chemicals or adhesive chemicals?

No, the fabric and fibers used to make Mama Coco baby wear are not treated in any chemicals. Please ensure garments fit snug on baby and wash before use per label care and warning instructions.

What size should I purchase?

For best fit, select the size based on your child's weight. For long babies, recommend sizing up. 

Washing instructions

Machine gentle wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low heat. Do not bleach.

SWADDLING

What are the benefits of swaddling?

Swaddling helps babies sleep better by mimicking the confined environment inside the womb and reducing the moro "startle" reflex.

How do I use the Cocoon swaddle?

We're happy to guide you! Please visit one of the Cocoon Swaddle product pages to reference the step-by-step instructional and how-to video available in the gallery. A hard copy of this instructional will also be provided with purchase for your reference.

When should I stop swaddling my baby?

Pediatricians recommend to stop swaddling when baby shows signs of rolling over or when they lose signs of the moro reflex, whichever comes first. This is typically between 4-6 months but will vary per child.

What size Cocoon Swaddle should I purchase?

For best fit, select the size based on your child's weight. Garment should fit snug. For long babies, recommend sizing up to ensure swaddle securely covers shoulders.

Can I purchase a larger size to use for my baby as they grow into it?

Yes, however, the swaddling cocoon is meant to be snug fit around baby to keep them securely comforted to prevent the moro reflex. It is also important that there not be any loose fabric that could be near baby's mouth or nose. Highly recommend following sizing guide for optimal fit.

How should I dress my baby under the Cocoon Swaddle?

The Mama Coco Cocoon swaddle is made with light-weighted material suitable to wear with just a diaper or even with the Mama Coco Winged Bodysuit. Always check your baby for signs of overheating including higher body temperature, redder skin color, and faster heartbeat. If your baby is overheated, remove layers of clothing or turn down the thermostat. Some signs of being too cold include lips, fingers or arms turning bluish-purple. If your baby is too cold, add layers of clothing or turn up the thermostat.

ORDER STATUS

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, an order cannot be modified or canceled once placed. Our system is not able to add inventory onto an existing order. A new, separate order needs to be placed. However, please do contact us and we will do our best to assist you with these changes to ensure swift resolution and delivery. Contact us at [email protected].

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, Mama Coco will send you a shipping confirmation email and tracking number.

Where is my order confirmation email?

An order confirmation email is sent automatically when an order is placed. After confirming that your order confirmation email did not go to your spam/junk folder, we would be happy to assist you. Contact us at [email protected].

PLACING AN ORDER

Can I send a gift message?

Yes, you can leave a gift message in the “Gift Message” box in your cart during checkout. This message will be included with a gift receipt where prices are removed.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes! Simply select the "Gift Wrap" option in your cart during checkout. Included in gift wrapping: Premium gift box, decorative accessories and custom printed gift note sent in protective corrugated mailer box.

How do I use a coupon code?

Coupon codes must be rendered at checkout. Each coupon code can be used once per customer and cannot be combined with other offers. If a coupon code is not being applied, it means the terms of the offer are not being met. If a coupon code shows that it is expired, it means the deadline to use this code has passed or you have used it on a past order and our system cannot apply it again.  

How do I order if no sizes are listed?

If there are no sizes available, the product is out of stock. However, we do restock items frequently, so be sure to check back soon or subscribe to newsletter for exclusive updates!

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

We recommend trying on all items in your order before washing to ensure they fit. We cannot accept returns or refund after items have been washed. An item may be returned if it is sent back:

  • unworn
  • unwashed
  • with original tags and packaging intact
  • free of stains, odors, animal hair, and damage

The return package must be postmarked back to us within 14 calendar days of delivery in order to receive a refund. Items can be returned after this 14-day-timeframe for a store credit.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees. No return form is necessary. A copy of the order slip provided with the package or email confirmation of the order will suffice. All we need with the package is a note including the order number and name associated with the order as proof of purchase.

Mama Coco is not responsible for untraceable or lost return shipments. We recommend using a delivery service with tracking to protect your return.

Please allow up to two weeks for your return to be processed once received at our warehouse, and 1-3 business days for refunds to be processed to your original form of payment. Proof of purchase is required for items to be return-eligible.

What is your exchange policy?

We recommend trying on all items in your order before washing to ensure they fit. We cannot accept exchanges after items have been washed. A product may be exchanged if it is sent back:

For exchanges, please include a note in your return package with your exchange request as well as your order number and name. (You can email us ahead of time too, so that we may reserve the requested size/style for you, if possible. Contact us at [email protected].) 
 
We will ship out the exchange(s) upon receiving and processing your return package. Free shipping is not offered for returns/exchanges. Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees. Mama Coco is not responsible for untraceable or lost return shipments. We recommend using a delivery service with tracking to protect your return. Customers are also responsible for outbound shipping of the exchange(s) if under the free shipping threshold and will be contacted for payment once exchange is received.

Do I need a receipt to return a product?

No receipt is necessary; all we need with the package is a note including the order number and name associated with the order. Record of sale is required for items to be return-eligible.

How do return a gift?

If you would like to return an item that was gifted to you, please contact us with the buyer’s name and order number (if known). The buyer will not be contacted; it will simply help us find the order and act as proof of purchase. Once record of the purchase is confirmed, you may find our gift-return policy below: An item may be returned if it is sent back:
