The Content Creator will play a crucial role in supporting our creative team with full lifecycle of video content production and advertisement creation at the direction of the Sr. Video Producer. This includes planning, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality videos tailored for social media, web, digital advertising (Meta & Google), and wholesale partnerships. This role’s work will directly contribute to our brand's visual presence and engagement strategies, reporting to the Sr. Video Producer and Director of Marketing


Key Responsibilities:

Content Planning: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and plan video content that aligns with our brand’s objectives and campaign goals. Ability to work autonomously while strategically visualizing and seizing unique content opportunities in real-time.

Video Production: Coordinate the end-to-end production process, including shooting video content, equipment setup and breakdown, and ensuring high production quality, both in studio and in the field. Produce cohesive, compelling and effective content that resonates with our audience and upholds the standard of excellence and quality synonymous with the Eberlestock name.

Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for various platforms and channels. Utilize video editing software to craft engaging and polished video assets. This includes cutting, trimming, and assembling footage, as well as adding graphics, sound, and effects as needed. Apply creative editing techniques to enhance the storytelling aspect of videos, including color correction, sound design, and graphic overlays.

Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of video content that meets the technical specifications and quality standards required for various channels and platforms. Manage and organize video archives and ensure all content is properly backed up and cataloged. Uploading and distributing drafts via G-drive, Frame.io, and Outlook.

Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-day with the latest digital video trends, formats, and best practices in editing software and techniques to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.

Collaboration: Work closely and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand project requirements and contribute creatively to the conception and execution of video campaigns. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for video content that aligns with the Eberlestock brand.

Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Experience with industry-standard video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software. In-depth sound design and color grading abilities are a plus.

Storytelling and Visual Communication: Strong ability to convey ideas through visual storytelling and maintain a consistent brand voice and style. Have a keen eye for detail and passion for storytelling through visual media.
Video Shooting Experience: Hands-on experience with video production, including operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Ability to operate professional DSLR and Cinema cameras. Experience filming in a studio and in the field. Familiarity with Canon or Sony cameras.

Knowledge of Digital Trends: Awareness of current video trends, formats, and best practices for various digital platforms.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in both the creative and technical aspects of video production.

Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proper storage management practices for backing up data and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree or certification in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a commercial or brand environment.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Familiarity with social media platforms and their video content requirements.

The Staffing and Development Manager will be expected to take a comprehensive role, not only fulfilling the normal duties of HR related to compliance, compensation and benefits, employee grievances, and staffing and recruiting; but also take initiative to build and foster a culture of professional development. The Staffing & Development Manager will be expected to report directly to the CEO, identifying opportunities to educate, coach, and mentor all employees to be more strategic, educated, capable, and empowered leaders.
