Gel is a wonderful product to use for those gorgeous mani’s but if not used correctly it can cause contact dermatitis.
We will keep adding to the list
Here are important things to be aware of
1. Uv/led lamp needs to be at min 48 watts and a small flash cure lamp is meant to flash cure ONLY! You still use the big lamp to cure.
2. Uncured products.- If for any reason your gel is not cured you need to get it off your nails immediately. Some things you might see is that your gel is bubbling up.
3. HEMA Ingredient is not necessarily bad. What’s bad is when it’s the first or second ingredient because that means it’s high in hema. If exposed to the skin at all can cause over exposure. This is very bad. Do not trust just because it’s advertised as healthy or Hema free that it is. We are constantly running across customers bringing false marketing.

Look for these other ingredients for Hema. It is actually known by a few different names as well:Hydroxyethylmethacrylate, Hema, 2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate.
In the nail industry, HEMA- Hydroxyl Ethyl Methacrylaty, it is considered an additive to the nail products. Its adhesive qualities allow gels and polishes to stick better to the nail and last longer.
