Our crutches fit someone up to 6' 4".

How long are your crutches and walking sticks at their longest?

Our crutches extended to their tallest measure 103cm from the top of the hand grip to the bottom of the ferrule.  From the top of the cuff to the bottom of the ferrule at its longest, the crutch measures 126cm.

Our walking sticks extended to their tallest measure 101cm from the top of the hand grip to the bottom of the ferrule.

How long are your crutches and walking sticks at their shortest?

Our crutches at their shortest measure 72cm from the top of the hand grip to the bottom of the ferrule. From the top of the cuff to the bottom of the ferrule at its shortest, the crutch measures 89cm.

Our walking sticks at their shortest measure 73cm from the top of the hand grip to the bottom of the ferrule.

Am I too heavy for your crutches?

The maximum user weight is 150 kg or 330lbs.

Do your crutches fold?

No our crutches don’t fold.

Can you fit your crutches into a suitcase?

The crutch can separate into 3 parts the longest of which is 78cm so yes depending on the size of your suitcase!

Do you have a shop?

No, we are entirely web based. However we will accept returns within 14 days, as long as the products are unused, in the same condition they arrived in.

Can I try before I buy?

Sadly not but we do accept returns with 14 days (with the exception of international and personalised orders which are non returnable and non refundable).

Do I have to pay VAT?

Please see our VAT explanation page. Mostly, if you are registered disabled or have a long term chronic condition, you are exempt from VAT.

I've tried to apply for VAT exemption but it isn't removing the VAT at checkout, what do I do? 

If you are living with a long term condition or disability and qualify for VAT exemption but the form has rejected your application. Please place your order as normal and then email [email protected] stating your order number and disability / condition.  We will then update your account to ensure all future purchases are VAT free and also refund the VAT paid on your order immediately.

How do I adjust the height of your crutches or walking sticks?

On the main stem of the stick there is a clip, to remove the clip push both arms backwards.  Once removed slide the inside pole down holding onto the ferrule (rubber on the bottom of the stick) being careful not to twist.  Once you've found the right height, match the hole on the stick up with a hole on the inner pole and then push the clip back into the main stem.

How do I change the cuff on your crutches?

There are two small holes on the back of the crutch where the cuff attaches and locks into.  To remove a cuff, squeeze the handle where the two cuff edges meet then wiggle and then unhook. To put a cuff back on just slot one side of the cuff into one hole and then pull the other side over and click in. 

Is there an easy way to remove the ferrules?

Yes! If twisting and pulling is not straightforward, soak the bottom of your stick or crutches in hot water for ten minutes to loosen and the removal becomes much easier.

What if I have a problem with my crutches?

Please see our returns policy for details. We will accept returns within 14 days (excluding personalised and international orders which are non refundable) as long as the crutches or walking sticks are as they were when they delivered to you. If for any reason you receive an order that is faulty or damaged we will replace or refund as fast as we can.

When will I receive my order?

For all walking sticks and crutches orders over £150, excluding personalised orders - these will be delivered by courier the next WORKING day. Personalised crutches and walking sticks take between 7-10 working days from order to delivery.  Accessories are shipped first class so should arrive within 2 working days maximum.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for all Mainland UK orders over £150, if you are outside of Mainland UK please see our delivery page for more information on non Mainland UK and International orders.

Can I change or cancel my order after it’s been submitted?

Yes, but you will have to be quick as the warehouse are really efficient at getting orders on their way. As long as they have not left the warehouse, we can change an order. Please contact us by email as soon as possible.

Do your grips fit NHS crutches?

No they don't.
