Gear Recommendations
Rods, Reels & Lines:
Single-hand rods, switch rods, and spey rods 6-8wt. For single hand rods, full floating. Switch and Spey rods, interchangeable tip Skagit style lines are reccomended.
Leaders, Tippet:
Typically 9' 0x-3x leaders/tippet.
Waders & Boots:
Required, there is no fishing from a floating device on the Applegate, so wading is required. Studded boots are reccomended.
