The POC is the solution to the most common issues of finding an oxygen system that patients can carry and feel good about it. Patients don’t have to worry about the unnecessary, heavy weight other portable oxygen machines that provide more than what is needed for clinical requirements.
The Focus POC is different than any other small cylinders or liquid units that need to be delivered and refilled on a regular basis because it makes its own oxygen on demand. The Focus is simple to handle, to carry and to understand and also offers a variety of travel advantages. There are no confusing or complicated control panel read-outs, all you have to do is flip the switch and Focus does the job.
The POC offers multiple power options. Each micro-battery, weighing only one-half pound, provides advanced duration times in a very small package that can easily be attached to one’s hip, on a belt, or even to the unit’s shoulder strap itself. The Focus can be used, and the batteries charged, with the universal power supply that connects to AC/DC power. Batteries last about 4 hours each and take 3 hours to recharge. Patients can use the Focus outdoors, at home, in the car and just about anywhere. The batteries feature a digital display, in 25% increments, so the patients have a virtual indicator of the state of the battery’s charge. Batteries can simply be switched out or recharged.
